The municipality of Mauguio Carnon has held the Blue Flag label for several years.
This ecolabel promotes a policy of tourism development that respects the environment and the population. This labeling is based on complete and evolving criteria articulated around several major themes:
– The general environment of the site
– Water and environmental management
– Waste management
– Education and public awareness of the environment
Thus, it is the sign of a sustainable project for clean beaches and harbors, excellent quality bathing water, and a commitment at all times to minimize the impact of tourism and maritime activities on ecosystems.
